 Quality Fitness Teachers We each welcome you to join us in one or more of our classes. Here's a little about each of us. We're looking forward to meeting you! Kay Peterson (Owner/Manager): Kay has unbounded energy for encouraging each person to find his/her own path to fitness while having fun in the process. She found her true passion in teaching others about fitness. She became a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor in 2004 and in 2009 opened her own studio, Quality Fitness, for your quality of life. - Dayna Baker (Assistant Manager): Dayna is an enthusiastic yoga instructor with over 8 years of teaching. She holds certifications from nationally recognized Yogafit and brings an amazing level of caring and knowledge to each yoga class.
June Quick is a Pilates instructor and Physical Therapist with additional training in nutrition. She has worked with elite athletes as well as beginning clients to help each person achieve a truly functional life. She teaches reformer and mat Pilates classes and is available for private Pilates instruction. From time to time she offers injury screening clinics and will help you become your best. Kathryn Hansen is a meditation teacher (1997) and a certified Yogafit instructor (2010). She has a BA in Human Services, and is a Reiki Master and certified Hypnotherapist, as well as a Master Neurolinguistic Practitioner Life Coach. She has a passion for assisting clients in attaining general health, as well as alleviating stress induced tension - Rene' Porubek: became certified as Spinning instructor Fall 2009! Rene' is teaching the 7:15am Spin class on Tuesdays and Thursdays; 8:15 on Friday mornings. You'll be infected with her enthusiasm and fall in love with Spinning and improving your fitness.
Alan Tharp: certified as a Spinning Instructor in February 2011. Alan has participated in many marathons over the years, is dedicated to fitness and new challenges. He began diving a couple of years ago and has several certifications. He will encourage you to do your best and to make improvements in each class with his positive ways and his music. He teaches Spinning Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Kathy Sweeny: joined Quality Fitness as a Spinning instructor in May 2011. She teaches two Spin classes a month on Saturdays (8:00am) - alternating with Kay - and occasionally subs for other classes. She teaches a fun, challenging Spin class that will leave you with a smile on your face and hundreds of calories burned! - Alexandra Clark has been an actor and dancer all her life. She began taking Zumba in 2008. She fell in love with Zumba and wanted to share her love for this wonderful way to become fit with others. She became certified in Zumba in 2010 and developed a low-impact version shortly thereafter and is a licensed Zumba Gold instructor. Join her for a great workout and party yourself into shape!
Maureen Lewison: is a licensed Zumba instructor and loves teaching Zumba classes. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party! Come join Maureen and you'll see what she means. You don't even have to know how to dance. Just move your body and follow her lead. It's easy! Maureen teaches 6am Zumba Wednesdays & Fridays and 8:30am Sundays. Get your day off to a great start with Maureen! Lori DuBois joined Quality Fitness in September 2011. She is a dynamic Zumba instructor and also is a yoga teacher and ACE Personal Trainer and ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor. Lori is teaching 6am Zumba on Mondays and 6:00pm on Thursdays - the best way to start your week and feel great all day!! Gloria Malloy has been licensed by Zumba for over 3 years. She loves Latin dance, learning new ways to inspire her students, and teaches a fun class. Gloria is teaching Tuesday evenings at 6pm and fills in for other teachers when needed.
